Third Grade

Tuesday will be a dress down day for any student that brings a donation for Relay for Life.

Wednesday we will be going to Shore Acres for game day. Students may wear jeans and a St. Ed’s t-shirt. Wednesday is also a dress down day for students or families that purchase a yearbook.

Math- We will learn about mixed numbers, adding and subtracting fractions. There will be a quiz on Friday over section B. Homework every night.

Grammar- We will learn about quotations.

Reading- We will read “Elena’s Serenade”. The skills this week are generalization, synonyms, main idea/detail, and prediction. Selection test will be on Thursday. Reading packet will be due Friday.

Religion- We will learn how Catholics share the same faith. There will be a quiz over chapter 24 on Thursday.

Science- We will finish up the chapter over the body systems.
