*BEHAVIOR MANAGEMENT: The classroom rules are posted. If a student fails to follow the classroom rules they will be given a warning-place a green card in their pocket. Further violation of the rules will result in the changing of the color of their card and will receive consequences for their behavior. If a student reaches the red card and continues to violate the rules then the student is sent to the principal’s office.

Consequences:

Any violation will result in consequences.

1^st violation- (put in green card) warning

2^nd violation (change to yellow)- walk for 5 minutes.

3^rd violation (change to orange)- Walk for 5 minutes and write an action plan to be signed by a parent.

4^th violation-(change to red)- sent to principal’s office for recess and write an action plan to be signed by a parent.

Any further disruption and violation of rules will result in a visit to the principal’s office.

Severe clause: If a student’s behavior is disruptive to the learning of other, he/she can be immediately sent to the principal’s office.

Rewards:

In addition to constant verbal praise, if a child receive a colored card for the entire week, he/she will receive a prize for his/her behavior and his/her name will be put into a drawing to be Camper of the week.
